I was born and brought up in Mumbai. Since childhood, I was completely into sports and dance, and have won many medals and trophies in my school days. I used to get up early morning and go for practice as I loved sports and I was always appointed as a leader for the kabaddi team. It was my responsibility to manage the whole team and thankfully my team was much co-operative and we had won medals and trophies.

In my school, it was mandatory to learn martial arts (karate). In the beginning, I wasn’t fond of karate but after learning this amazing art I started loving it. With the pace of time when I mastered the art, I had participated in martial arts competition where there were lots of professionally trained people. It was a difficult task for me to get the 1st place. But I constantly kept myself motivated and I bagged the 1st position.  Gradually with the course of time, my interest in sports kept on growing and then I started participating in other sports competitions also and in this course, I also won the gold medal in badminton competition when I was in 7th grade.

Along with sports I also developed a passion for makeup and clothes. I used to try my mom’s Sarees and lipsticks even though I had zero knowledge of what is it and how to use it. I used to tell my mom that I want to become a model someday in the future hahahahaha…… I used to watch Miss Femina, INTM on Television, and never missed an episode because this is what I am living for.

when I was in 8 grade I was dealing with some medical issues but never gave up my self-confidence. I couldn’t manage to go to school and used to study online and prepare my self for exams. I got a drop when I was in 10 grade and I didn’t leave hopes, I continued studying online and appeared back again because life doesn’t stop if you fail, you get up and fight back and that’s what I did. My parent other loved ones called me a fighter as I have been dealing with medical issues but never gave up on life. My parents motivated me, gave me the confidence to look forward in life instead of crying with what happened they asked me to smile and move ahead.

I  never imagined that I will get into the field of fashion and makeup blogging. I came across blogging and got highly influenced whenever I see these fashionistas uploading creative content on social media, and then I thought of giving this a shot and getting into this profession. I told my parents about this profession and had to explain to them what exactly this is and how do people make money out of this and then I started doing fashion, lifestyle, and food blogging since 7 June 2018 and since then there is no turning back. My sister Somiya and Vishnu helped me a lot in shoots and also accompanied in my intercity travels/photoshoot assignments, I honestly won’t be able to make it so far without both of them.

I love making new friends both online and offline and this journey helped me in knowing and making friends when I was pursuing syjc from Shri Giridhar Prasad Mishra degree college vile parle. Networking is something I am specialized in and it actually helped me a lot. People also think that bloggers get free stuff and food but they never notice the actual struggles that go behind creating content and uploading it on social media.

Have you heard about the term “blogging”?

I wasn’t aware of this term 2 years ago, later when I started understanding what exactly blogging means I started going for early morning product and outfit shoots, TikTok videos, approached brands for collaboration and invites, started writing my own blog. Blogging has come a very long way, people earn from blogging, bloggers are actually earning more than normal conventional jobs and like many others now it has become a source of livelihood for me, and now I view blogging as my daily bread and butter.

I have collaborated with more than 250 brands in past 22 months which include  L’Oreal professional, Daniel Wellington, Aeropostale, Pantene, Burger king India, Bombay times fashion week, Garnier India, Bioderma and yes we do receive a lot of “Free” PR packages but it takes efforts and lots of hard work even behind a single photograph.

 

There was a time where I wasn’t completely well but then also I was pressurized to upload the content by the brand before the deadline ends and without panicking I started shooting the video for that brand and sent it for approval, where the PR team of the brand appreciated me for being sick and completing the task before the deadline ends and had sent me a thank you letter with some chocolates as a token of appreciation. I see myself becoming more productive day by day in creating content.

I was also chosen as Marsplay community manager for 6 months where I got a chance to manage Mumbai bloggers for the Marsplay app. I also Got featured in Hindustan Times on Jan 11, 2020, for a real estate property, first India on 13 Feb 2020.

I keep motivating myself for every upcoming challenge because it’s not that easy to manage studies and blogging together but all I do is push myself up every morning go for shoots, college, and then I keep myself busy with TikTok or edits. My main aim behind blogging is to showcase my styling and makeup to all my friends on various social media platforms. I enjoy going for events and communicate with my fellow bloggers, I get to learn a lot and it’s actually so much fun. It takes a lot to put up content that my audience likes may it be makeup or fashion, I give my best and never felt like working as I do what I actually love.

Now people know me as a blogger&model and my parents, colleagues feel so proud of my blogging journey.
